Of course, the best way to experience what we are all about is by visiting our church. Feel free to drop by for one of our services or call the church office and arrange a personal tour of our facilities from the Pastor and staff.

What religious organization are we a part of?

Woodin Valley Baptist Church is not affiliated with, or under the authority of, any denominational organization. Instead, the Bible is our sole and final authority for all of our decisions regarding belief and practice. In other words, we are a Baptist church that is independent in our authority and fundamental in our doctrine.

What is our church all about?
The mission of Woodin Valley Baptist Church is to bring honor and glory to God and invest in the lives of people by going across the street and around the world with the Gospel. Everything we do flows out of that mission. We seek to honor and glorify God by participating in meaningful, biblical worship services and engaging Bible classes. We seek to invest in people through our outreach ministries to the Seattle community and mission efforts around the world.

What kind of music does our church have?
The music ministry of Woodin Valley Baptist Church is one that is distinctively different. God has equipped his church with individuals who faithfully and lovingly serve Him. Our services are filled with soul-stirring, old-time evangelistic congregational hymns combined with choir, individual groups, and instrumentals that contain a clear Biblical message honoring the Lord, without sacrificing an exciting experience for the believer.

What times does our church meet?
We have 4 weekly services. The first is our Sunday School service, which includes Bible classes for all ages that begin at 10:00 a.m. Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 11:00 a.m. Our Sunday evening service begins at 6:00 p.m. and our mid-week service is Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. Every service provides the best in childcare services with trained individuals who you can trust, not to mention a clean environment so you can be at peace knowing your children are in good hands.

What can you expect when you visit?
At Woodin Valley Baptist Church, we are thrilled to have guests visiting in any service. As soon as you walk through the doors, we believe you will find what so many people love about Woodin Valley—a down-to-earth and genuinely friendly atmosphere. We will usually begin every service by making sure that each guest receives an information packet about our church. During the services themselves, you can expect to enjoy clear, God-honoring music and fervent, practical preaching. You might be wondering, “What should I wear when visiting Woodin Valley Baptist Church?” While we never apologize for encouraging people to “dress their best” for church, you will find people from all walks of life and backgrounds who feel very much at home at Woodin Valley.

What Is the Pastor like at our church?
You can expect to find a loving pastor who will take great interest in caring for your spiritual needs. Pastor Farinella will take the time to get to know you personally and invest in your life throughout the week (not just on Sundays). Many churches have loving men of God that serve as a spiritual leader of their church for a period of time, but unlike most churches, our Pastor has been here since the first Sunday back in 1985. His personality, love for people, and passion for the Word of God make's it easy to see and understand why God has used him so greatly for over 30 years.
