Sunrise Service
Our Easter Sunrise Service has become a staple in our community’s Easter Tradition. It’s completely different than our other service at 11:00 o’clock. There’s more of an intimate atmosphere, and if the weather cooperates, the sunlight crests the evergreen trees as the service begins.
Matthew 28:1, 5 & 6 | In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. . .And the angel answered . . .He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
Easter Celebration Service
Celebrating the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ is a vital part of our faith. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15 that if Christ were still dead, our faith would be vain and meaningless. However, because Christ clearly did raise from the grave, we celebrate in His victory over death and sin!
Acts 26:23 & 26 | That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles. . .For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner.
